Well looked hi and low for the paint drip trays to mod my heater for the fish hut. Can. Tire-none, Walmart-none, checked a few paint stores only in plastic.
Ended back at Can. Tire and picked up a cooling rack for baking. 9"X16" $5.00 and worked out great. Mod took 5 minutes front start to finish, has a good cooking area and sturdy to boot. Large enough to hold a few coffee cups and small pot. Also roomy enough to dry those wet mitts or gloves. No I do not have a furnace in my hut, pics taken in the basement.

Nice mod for a few seasons now I've been just using a ice rod holder to heat up cans of soup or chili depending on the temp it can take a bit longer. I like to lay the can down on its side obviously with the lid on to start the process then move it to the rack. That rack sound work great though drying out wet gloves.

Did the same thing last year and made soup on it. I just took the grill of the front, flipped it and it sticks out horizontally. I made it sturdy with a couple bent coat hangers.

Stopped off at Coffee Time on my way out to the ice and picked up a coffee, sausage roll and a Jamacaim Beef Patty for supper. Two hours later and 5 minutes on the heater. all was piping hot.

looked around the kitchen and found old steak cooling grids about 6x8 with feet made out of bent steel wires on bottom. bought from hendrixs food supply years ago. cut middle wire feet away, left two feet on one end and cut wire about two inches long and removed rest. grill now is held in place by sliding the two wires under top bar on heater grill and v shaped feet rest on second bar of grill and held in place. no bending, took less than five mins.
