So my annual fishing trip is coming up, and this year were heading to BOQ.
We usually fish the kawarthas, but now we're set on pickin new waters every year.

We are staying at perfect vue.
First of all, my main target are bass. I love bass fishing. I'll also target walleye and pike secondary.

My questions are, what works well for all 3 fish at the bay?
And secondly, I'm looking for good starting point for these fish, keeping in mind where I'm launching from.
Im not asking for personal hotspots, but maybe a tip or 2 to get us going in the right direction.
One thing that worries me are the posts on here of how slow the bite has been.

There is good large mouth fishing all over the bay. Look for green weed in 8-12 feet. A place to start anyways.

Ok thanks! Does he have a store on site or something?

Also, is jigging an effective technique for walleye at BOQ?
I'm used to jigging for them here so I figured I'd give that a shot

Spring and fall yes, jigging works great. Not much luck here with vertical jigging in the summer, although, you can rip bucktail jigs in the weeds and you will get them. Look for bright green weeds, preferably cabbage and work them over with cranks and spinners/rubber.
