I like the church boards myself they run good right out of the package, the off shores cant boast the same but do the job when you tweak them, at the price they charge for a hunk of yellow plastic, and a bit of Styrofoam I don't know why off shore cant sell them already set up like the pros do without the added extra cost .

Use the Off Shore boards and for pennies you can modify them for the tattle flags, which are a great addition to the in-line planers. IMHO.

Yes Grizz some are for port side and others for the starboard. That's why I don't let you set a spread haha

I'm an offshore guy as well. I used to buy the OR-18 snappers and add those but the way offshore ships them now with an orange clip at the front and a red clip at the back is the way to go.

There are more offshore boards then church boards on Quinte.

I'm for Church walleye boards i change the clips to snappers and pull 14" Grandmas and big believers with no problem , no matter how hard fish hit it stays put until i take it off , never had a problem with them , The TX-44s are good too but pull a little harder , Ive used both for years and i think it comes down to personal preference

These are new and you can drag any 14lb walleye around the bay undetected :). They are designed for coppers, leadcores etc

I was pulling 14" grandmas around this weekend on the regular offshore boards. We had to replace the front orange clip to a red offshore clip to maintain speed, but they worked well!! Ended up goin 14-20 here's the 2 biggest!

Offshore and I prefer to use them without the tattle flags. I did modify mine as many others have too by putting the OR18 on the front and the OR16 on the back. With these you will not lose the board. Watch the rod tips and over time you'll know when you have a fish on. A big one will pull it back and in some cases it will go under the water or get flipped.
