We fished it today as well ... launched by the ferry and spent a few hours in the morning jigging by Thompson's Point with swedish pimples and minnows ..caught 15-20 small (12- 16) inch walleye in 40-50 fow ....6-7 other boats in the area as well ...didn't see any big fish caught ... Spent 5 hours trolling from the ferry to the Bat Cave and back ..used Mann Stretch 20's and Reef Runners on the outside boards and TD 30's on the inside boards and not one fish ! ... Blew a trailer tire on the way home .. (its always something) but it was a great day to be out there .. I think this is the latest I've ever fished Quinte and I'm going to hold off winterizing the boat for another week or so in case I can get back .. so calm and mild out there today I hardly even ran the heaters !
