Hey boys...with all the posts about ice conditions and some not so happy people I hate to ask but we're heading down to Quint this weekend and I wanted to know if anyone has been out to Big Bay at all? We usually fish Trident point so just trying to gauge what the ice conditions are like out there. I know it can be a high current area so any info would be appreciated. :D

Mark had his argo go through yesterday just east of Trident point.

I totally didn't think the ice was good for atv's or argo's but thought there may be enough to walk.

Hopefully the weather cooperates and we get some more cold nights.

The one thing that I find sets the Bay apart from any other fishing location is seeing the lure go out of view as the current takes it away. Kinda makes me a bit leary every time I am out there

Give it another week. The ice is not good anywhere. Really sketchy ice this year. Not sure why, but its not good ice.
