Made a trip down to Radioworld to pick up a couple things including the new transducer. It's everything -down scan/side scan/chirp mid&high/83/200 2d. looking forward to playing with this mounted on the bow trolling motor. Here's a picture of it

Looks good Dan. Now you need the HDS 12 Gen 3 on the bow to plug it into.

I wish Shep I really do, these aging eyes of mine sure would enjoy the larger screen without having to squint lol. Actually, the 9 gen 3 it will be connected to is pretty easy on the eyes. Can't wait to try it!

Looks great! Looking forward to seeing some screen shots of it in action. I've heard they have done some great things with that transducer to tweak the sonar image

Here is the total scan ducer installed. Haven't had a chance to play with it on the water yet. A bit of work to install including; modifying the bracket that came with it with a dremel so that the clamps would fit through the slots, cutting off the hinge, making a shim to cover over my trolling motor transducer and then some taking of the cable.

Is total scan compatible with only gen 3? Or will it work with gen 2 touch as well?

It'll only work on the Gen 3 units or the Elite Ti models
