I just ordered a Minn Kota Terrova 80 (
) 24v, so now I'm about to search for some good value deep cycle batteries. Which brings me to my question... How the hell do I keep them charged at my slip? I have shore power available but I'm not sure about the adapters for long term use. I know there is an adapter out there (30a to 15a) with GFCI protection but I also know they aren't really intended to leave unattended and long term. I won't use the outboard enough to rely on a DC charger, and I doubt that solar is a good option as I will be using the boat often and I don't think they will keep up. Does anyone have a good, clean option?
