Sorry I wasn't sure what you are mounting it on. For handle bar mounts use RAM-HOLGA34U and RAM-B149ZU. $35 for the package.

Thanks

Lawren

Which one is the best for bottom scanning as that is mainly my interest...100'-150 deep.Lowrance is more $$$,but for range, picture quality, power, reliability, etc.,there again
my interest. Also, the Structure scan[side imageing]will it work ok with the HDS5???As it is more affordable to me,if it will do the job.
I have seen the Humminbird in use and was a bit disappointed with the image size.Maybe they are all like that?thxs. carpman

Humminbird and Lowrance both have great side imaging sonar so they are going to be your best bet for bottom scanning. The 798cSI is the 5" model from Humminbird and it is the exact same display size as the HDS5 so if you weren't happy with the Humminbird screen size you'll probably find the same with the Lowrance.

Both brands make great products. In the end you have to decide what is going to meet your needs best.

Posted this previously elsewhere and just realized maybe it should of been posted here instead. Sorry for the duplication...

Last year i purchased a transducer, power cord, battery and charger for ice fishing with my Lowrance LMS-522c. I no longer have the 522, but still have the ice accessories. My question is whether these items will work on any of the currently available Lowrance units, as i know the 522 is no longer available. My preference would be one with an internal GPS and a slot for my Navionics card. Some advice on what units would work would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, i would gladly buy a used 522 at a reasonable price (loved that unit).
