had the same luck minus the pike, I tried from Deseronto to Shermans point. Things seem to be really slow

Fished the Northport area on Sunday as well. Caught 16 bass and 5 pike, missed several others. We were fishing white spinnerbaits and blue black swim jigs and rage craws, they wouldn't bite stationary baits for us at all. The bass have been on fire for me in this area for two weeks now. I have been concentrating on shoreline iregularities with weeds. The fish are just pounding the bait. Yesterday spot lock on my trolling motor was necessary as it really kept us in the zone and not drifting around.

I figured i would have had something go after the spinner bait i was throwing , it was white as well.. no luck. I ussually stick it out as long as i can pushing ice around some times but havent had the best luck come late fall early winter through the narrows.
