I have been using the navionics app for quite a few years now and I am usually very happy with it. This year I have been having problems with it not being very accurate. Last night I went out to Bain Park and headed to a spot that was supposed to be 16 feet, I drilled a few holes and put my flasher down to find out that I am in 10 feet of water. Packed everything up again and moved around to another spot that was supposed to be 16 feet only to find out that I was in 10 feet of water again. My question is, is the water that much lower or has the silt built up that much.
There was another fellow 100 feet away from me that came over to talk about it because he was having the same problems. Maybe it is time for the app to update some information on Depths.
Is anyone else having the same problem?

I find navionics “SonarChart” unreliable for anywhere around Trenton. Try switching the overlay to the “Nautical Chart”...it’s been more accurate for me around those parts.
