Hello, looking for someone that could re-wire our whole bass boat. We have had it to the prop shop. They done a hopeful quick fix which hasn’t fixed the issues. Our issues are. And yes the batteries are all good bran new batteries. 1. Issue. When starting the big motor our console fish finder turns off. I can unplug it from the electrical box plug it back in and it will come back on. 2. When I either use the Bilge pump or livewells click on. The front fish finder will turn off. The boat is a 2016. We have had nothing but electrical issues with this boat. If anyone knows anyone that could do a very quick turn around or could personally do it themselves. Would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone

I had the same problem with the console finder. I too would have to unplug the power from the unit and plug it back in to restart. I figured it was a voltage drop when starting the engine so wired directly to the battery. Still did it after awhile. I then wondered if i wasn't running my engine enough to charge the battery so started just putting the battery on a charger (small tender actually) when the boat was parked in the garage. Fixed the problem for me

We do that too make sure the cranking batteries are always fully charged and it still does it. I know it’s a short somewhere. I just don’t know where to look or how to even go about it

You may want to check the battery warning on the fish finder.Could be set to low giving a false alarm.

It’s a wiring issue somewhere. Even when we had it at the prop
Shop. He said it is shorting out somewhere. He thought he found it but didn’t.

Load test the batteries, new doesn't mean anything when it comes to batteries and it's a better place to start than end up there after a few hrs.

Done it. It’s pushing out exactly what we need. And we also run an extra cranking battery as well because of livewells both units run off cranking for long days on the water

So what was the solution in the end? I'm having very similar issues with my boat right now. Thanks

I had both units wired direct to the batteries. But he did tell me and showed me the “main” wires that power my hole dash. How small they are. And that was a big problem to small of wire to try to power everything. And the boat is now pretty flawless with my electronics
