Quinte Fishing

Hello All: First, I know that the ice is not great. However, I also know some folks are still taking proper precautions and going out in areas where it is indeed safe. I was hoping things firmed up a bit with the cold we have recently had. I live 3.5 hours away and cannot "check yourself" as some will suggest. I am hoping to come up Tuesday and would like to meet up if anyone wants company. I have all my own gear (including a spud, full float suit and ice picks for those who will suggest it) and just wanted to work on the buddy system as my friends have Monday-Friday jobs and I do not. I would happily buy minnow, coffee or a beverage.

If you cannot meet up, but know where I should start my search for potentially fishable ice, I would appreciate a private message. I have one spot in mind, but it I am not familiar with it and want to have options should it not pan out.

Belleville Area last week was just about all open water, you are seeking some shallow back bays with possible (maybe) ice. More boats in the water than huts on the ice. IMO
