It's been a long time since a day like yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Haven't had a great summer so far. Few small fish but nothing worth mention.

About 2:00 pm finally found a walleye school and they were on. An east wind and they were literally hitting on the cast.

Breaking lures and nicking leaders. Lots of retying and repositioning. The school was stationary and I was able to stay on it.

A few sheephead but mostly good walleye. Lots of stikes, releases and heavy lifts with hard mouths spitting hooks. The fish were still biting when I pulled the plug around 5:00.

Took home 4. One just shy of 24", two at 21" and the smallest of the day at 20". Hopefully we'll have a good fall.
