Quinte Fishing

Anyone ever try tipping their lures with multiple pinheads in the bay before?

I normally tip with a minnow head but have always wondered about using the smaller pinheads. I would most likely load 3 on a treble.

I will usually load up with a few extras if i find a couple of dead ones at the end of the weekend or day. Usually one live and 2 dead heads. Can not say whether it helps or hurts, have had bites but not sure if the extras were what caused it. I know a BOQ guide that showed me it on his rig 10 - 15 yrs. ago.
