We tried something different last night. We launched in the same area but headed west to Anderson's shoal. Took a bit to find it in the dark. It comes up to about 4 ft in spots and is covered with weeds that don't make it quite to the surface. We tried casting over the weed beds and around the shoal. We really didn't mark much around it but my cousin managed to get a 5.5 lb walleye to bite.

We also tried back at the bridge but only managed to snag another gar. I'm starting to wonder if thats what we're marking in and around the bridge. Seems to be a large number in there.
Maybe this weekend we'll give the Picton area a shot. Looks like it might be a crowded one though.
I'm looking forward to hooking into something much bigger. :D
