Quinte Fishing

I was just wondering if anyone had an issue with their VHF after
Saturdays brief thunderstorm? What happened was my radio let off a constant dial tone sound that I could not get to stop.
According to Uniden, I fried my CPU. Anyone else have this issue?

Hummm. seems to me any surge would have been cought by the in line fuse did that ever blow??? first time using it this year? moisture in the unit maybe? you would think you would have to be pretty close to a strike for the lightning to have an affect . maybe not lol not like your well grounded out there lol thats why I always keep a 2 iron on my boat! . even god cant hit a 2 Iron lol
