Yeah Ok! Ur right matdbz29! I don't know what to use in the rivers. However Darlington was a good trip tday caught a 21lb King on the fly in 50ft of water, 2 brownies on the black and purple spoon. 2 small atlantic salmon on a green n silver spoon, all in about 40 to 60 feet of water. It was a little rough on the water tday only stayed till noon.

countrboy, I launched in bowmanville in port darlington, its a decent launch, a bit of a channel to get to the lake there is a marina there, stay in the channel markers and real close to the docked boats ont east side until u get out. The launch dock on the north side or the right as u go in, there is some rock and junk just under the suface at the end so watch out for them. The kings are staging and it should be hot fishing for the next 2 weeks and then they will be gone west.

When u get out Try in front of the cement plant in about 100ft of water n start ur run east/west or visa versa, if ur going out in the am, dont follow the charters their gone in deeper water for steelheads, well unless u want steelheads. I had one rigger set at 44ft and the cheater 22ft.

If u need better directions I can get them for you, let me know.

I was out at point anne this am, nothing to talk about a few pearch n one ungly sheep head.

Good luck!

Roundtuit!
