Hi Stacy,

I'm planning on going up to my parents place on the Bay of Quinte the week of July 22 and was wondering where should I go close to Bellville for some good muskies. I heard Stucco or the Moria river is good.

Let me give you some info on what I'm looking for, first I'm not looking for quantity of muskies but more for 1 or two good sized ones (over 40"). I have a 16 foot Crestliner rigged with 55thrust Minn Kota and fish finder so I can get it into any water, only set back is a tow it with a Grand Am and need the launch to have a good grade on it nothing that is a gradual drop. I not into trolling put will do it if I have to. I am use to fishing the Otonobee and was wondering if the Moria is the same type of river?

Is the pressure in the week bad on these lakes? I hate jet skiers.

I plan also to pop in at your store to get me some lures.

Thanks any info would be appreciated

Aron

Mako,

Moria lake. Stoco lake would probly be your best bet if you are towing with a grand am. Stoco might be the easiest. This area including the Bay of Quinte and north through the Moria river, Trent river, Stoco Lake, Moria Lake, Crow have all produce larger fish into the 40lb to 55lb+ fish.

The problem with the lakes is the recreational boaters on weekends. The week days are not to bad if you are able to get out there. I fish/guide these waters 5-6 days a week and you do see alot of traffic. Go early mornings or late evenings to avoid the unwanted boating presure.

Good luck, :D
