Quinte Fishing

Well had a great friend and turkey guru come down from his neck of the woods to follow me around the other day. We went out to a promising area that is unfortunately days away from being clear cut for a new hydo line that is going thru. The hunt didn't start out too great, only one gobble off the roost then nothing. After a couple of moves we were able to finally locate a bird. A big ol Tom with 5 lovely ladies. Worked him for a bit, I never even took my calls out of the vest and at about 7:15 he snuck to within 40yds and my season was over

Very nice bird. big congrats I almost booked a bear hunt with Adrian last fall , Something else conflicted the dates he had for booking so I never did. Maybe this year. It feels good and sad to be done for another year , but the alarm clock not going off at 3 :30 in the morning is very nice. Once again way to go guy's.

Thanks for the kudos, get in quick cause our bear hunts are filling up already. I run the bear baits with him and our hunts produced 7 bears last season. Hope to do better this season...
