Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to take a few minutes and officially introduce my new venture. PB & J Charters http://www.pbandjcharters.com

A little over a year ago I decided to do something different with my time and thanks to some close friends who offered encouragement and support I have been able to make it happen. Last year I started doing some soft water charters and was reasonably successful. In the winter I joined the Quinte Ice fishing team and at that point I decided to make it a little more full time.

Ive spent the last little while upgrading my boat, rigging and getting a website in place as well as obtaining my Transport certification for "SVOP" & "MEDA3" I officially started in the Spring and over the summer spent some time on Lake Ontario hunting Salmon. Two weeks ago I switched my focus back to Walleye and have been very fortunate finding fish in the 6 to 10 plus pound range. My best bite has been mid morn and later in the afternoon with purple reef runners being most effective at 1.7mph

This is somewhat of a shameless plug but I just wanted to formally introduce my new business and toss some pics up of the boat and some recent Quinte Gold. I'll try not to clutter up the board with tons of these "plugs" but if you see me at the ramp I'm more than willing to help if I am able. I have been very fortunate to have worked with some great people within the industry; Scott Walcott, Greg Amiel, Sheldon Hatch, Jack Summers from Radioworld to name a few and there are many more who have helped me be able to do something to provide for my family that I love so much. A big thanks to my friends for the support and look forward to the forthcoming "Fall-eye" season! Most reports I'll post to my facebook page mainly because i can easily do from the water so feel free to visit it and "like" it http://facebook.com/trophywalleye You can also follow on Twitter @pbandjcharters

hope you enjoy the pics and Tight lines!

hey guys, thanks for all the best wishes.

the name stems from results last year.... i was very fortunate and last yr almost every trip out i was lucky enough to help break someone's Personal Best. a good friend suggested I call the boat PB & J and it stuck.... mostly fun and most of us have had a sandwich or two so its easy to remember...lol

Grizz, I'll take luck anyday especially good luck lol

Superdad, I normally monitor 16 and usually switch over once contacted.

thanks again everyone and look forward to seeing you on the water

As for the QWL we are still here , the summer was busy and we had to make some adjustments as a club but the exec just met last night to discuss some changes and I think we have some very positive things to announce at our Oct meeting, most likely to he Oct1 bit please stay tuned for a finalized date to he announced.

Congrats on the new start-up Joe, and all the best in the future. The boat looks great, and I'll be looking forward to seeing you on the water later this Fall.

Glad to hear the Quinte Walleye League is still making progress. This will take time and will be a progress in work, so stick with it.

Good Fishing.

Guests to the Quinte area are blessed with another certified and reputable charter operator to chose from when booking a trip on our World Class fishery.

Joe,

You have worked hard and deserve all the success that comes your way. It has been a pleasure working with you and I look forward to seeing your company grow over the next few years as I'm sure it will. Looking forward to a few days on the water with you this fall.

Scott

I too have had the chance to get to know Joe over the last few years and I can honestly say this guy is passionate. We have had many discussions on the water and off about technique. A nice rig with a good captain and a better man. Good luck Joe and I look forward to racing planer boards with ya this fall.

Great work on getting things all set up.... With your skills you'll do quite well out there.

Looking forward to seeing you on the water and sharing tons of stories. All the best pal, and welcome to the Guiding world.
