Feel free to post on here as well with your questions. I'll check the board a few times a day when I am in the office. Weekends you might not get a repsonse right away, but I'll post as soon as I can.

Those deals that Dan posted above is exclusive to this website! They will change through the season so check back often.

Hey Lawren

Got any of the 5.6 dual beams in stock?

$360.00 is the member price right? and is the $25.00 mail in credit still on?

Would you hold one with my cc number? I would pick it up and pay cash...can't have the better half see it on the monthly cc statement, LOL.

If you call in or come into the store just mention the Quinte Fishing price and they'll give you the deal. If you want to place the order online just check out like normal at the higher price and then in the comment field just mention you'd like the Quinte Fishing deal at $340 and we will manually adjust it for you

Thanks

Lawren

Hi Lawren,

I'm somewhat new to ice fishing but realize the importance of having a flasher. Having said that, I'd also like to have a portable fish finder for soft water...GPS would be great too. So I'm thinking of the Humminbird 385ci combo but am wondering how "good" the flasher is on this unit. Does it equal the performance of say the ICE 45?? I realize I'm comparing different screen technologies but if the 385's flasher functionality is as good or nearly as good as a stand alone flasher, it would be awfully handy to have a portable unit for the summer with GPS to boot!!

Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated...I may be making a road trip Saturday to Radioworld.

Tony

Hi Tony

You really cannot compare the two units as they are completely different. A flasher is going to be quicker in updating the screen than a LCD sonar unit which is a big benefit for ice fishing. Flashers only show what is directly below instantly, but do not show underwater history like a LCD sonar chart does which is important for open water fishing.

With that said, if you are buying the unit for ice fishing I would recommend a flasher. If you are buying the unit for ice and open water fishing, I would recommend the LCD screen. So in your case I think you are better off getting the 385ci. The sonar will perform excellent during open water fishing and it will do a good job during the winter. I have found that I tend to use the full sonar chart rather than the flasher when using a LCD unit.

We have good stock on the Ice45s and a couple of ICE385s so I would recommend calling the store tomorrow to hold a ICE385 if you want to come in saturday to pick it up.

Not a problem at all Tony. You made an awesome choice with the FL18! That is one of our most popular units and has quite the following. Let us know how you like it.

Hello Lawren, I have a new 19ft Smoker craft and Dan has recommended that I get the Lawrance HDS 10 fish finder. I went to bass pro and seen the unit however the dash on the smoker craft will not accommodate the size. Here is my question[s]
Difference from HDS 10 to HDS 7. Dont need structure scan but want maps. structure scan was cool but how many $$$
Do you install or have a place that installs for you
Do your have various swing arm install kits

Hey Lawren

I'm not inquiring on a fishing product, but I am looking or a GPS mount for my Garmin Nuvi 1350 to put on my 09 Yamaha Venture 1300. Could let me know if you have such a product and the total cost?

Thanks
Moose

Hi Randy

These are the parts you would need

http://radioworld.ca/motorsports-motorc ... -6646.html to hold the Nuvi. Then a base RAM-B202, the arm RAM-B201, and the backing plate for the holder RAM-B238

Should be around $50

Thanks Lawren

From what I see and please correct me if needed.

Ram-Holga34U
Ram-B-238 Base with Ball
Ram - B-201 Double socket Arm 1" Ball
Ram-B-231ZU Rail base, to attach to handle bars.

I don't see how you attach the B202 Base.....so I replaced with B238

Thanks Randy
