I am selling my beloved 1996 Lund 1700 Pro Guide Adventure Series. It comes with a 1996 Mercury 50HP motor and the 1996 galvanized trailer. The entire package was purchased new in 1996 and owned by a marine mechanic till 2006 when I purchased it. The boat has been awesome for me; I have never had a problem with this boat since I bought it. It has been meticulously maintained since new and it shows. I have used it for big water fishing since the day I bought it and I have finally bit the bullet and bought a bigger boat, hence the sale.

I have built custom stainless steel rod holders for each side of the boat and have run magnum dipseys off each side daily and caught a 33lb salmon on one for them as a testament to their strength. The trailer lights and all the wiring is less than one year old and has been professionally done, no issue with water. Tries and bearings are less than one year old and the bearings have been greased after every third trip. The battery is just over a year old as well. The livewell in this boat is huge, I held that 33lbs salmon in there and still had lots of room for more fish. There are two storage areas up front that hold tons. There is also a storage area up front for another battery should you decide to run a trolling motor on the bow.

I am selling this package and all the items below for $5500;

- Big Jon electric downrigger
- Sub-Troll system
- Lowrance VHF marine radio
- Large Frabill collapsible net
- Four life jackets
- All necessary safety gear
- Anchor & 100’ rope
- Mooring ropes
- Boat cover
- Portable toilet

I will be sad to see this reliable girl leave but I felt it was time to go to a bigger boat. I have fished Lake Ontario for numerous years in this boat with not problems as well as Lake Simcoe, and the Bay of Quinte each fall. If someone is just getting into big water fishing and wants to start with a very good reliable boat this is the one, it is also very suited for smaller lake fishing such as the Kawarta’s.
