I was wondering if somone could give me directions to the bay of quintie i will be coming from the 1000 island region. I would like to know the best place to launch so once we get there you dont have to travel several miles by boat to start fishing. I am hoping to get 3 or 4 people to go up we always talk about going and for whatever reason we never go. Probably gonna try to fish by i believe around the cement factory or there near by. May stay a night or two depending on conditions. Thanks.

Its prob 2 - 2 1/2 hours ish from the TI bridge depending on your tolerance for speeding tickets...

According to Google Maps you are 1.5 hours from 1000 island bridge to Picton. Safe driving and good fishing.

1.5 isn't gonna happen unless you are towing your boat with a Vette.

T.I. Brdige to KIngston - 25 minutes

Kingston to Desronto - 45-60 Mins

Take 401 to Desronto exit. Turn right on Hgy 2,turn left on College St. Turn right and go 100 yds to launch ramp.

Fish right away and head south down the Reach.

You can find a place to stay in Desronto.

OR

401 to Hgy 49 south(Picton Exit) to Picton and go left at intersection with funny angles, turn left after Tip of the Bay (whatever they'recalling it now) to launch ramp - Head out of PIcton Bay to Cement plant and that area.

Lotsa luck.

Dave is right on....I live in Theresa and it is only 85 miles from my place to Perfect Vue Lodge at the mouth of Hay Bay, give them a call for a place to stay
