Tags are coming out. We got ours for a bull in the gun season this year.

Less than two months to go and try and find ole' Bullwinkle again. Can't wait for the 22 hour non-stop drive.

Anyone else moose bound this year?

After laying in a hospital bed for almost 4 months, not being able to do things I love most,
Hunting and fishing, things go through your mind, notably when I get out of here I'm to hunt
again, and maybe I can challenge Adventures 63'' bull from last year, I know where he lives
but my partner and myself got our calf tags today. Hopfully I can find that calf with a 64 plus
rack and be as proud and happy as you were in lasts years photo's, if not I'm going with your
suggestion of the triple, calf moose, buck deer, and a bear in a week. My trip to Lac Seul is
26 hours non stop. Just began walking in the last month, been working out daily to build up
muscles I lost, so I'm looking forward to a great hunt. My many, many thanks to all the great
guys and gals that flooded my I Pad with best wishes and get well soon, made my recovery
a lot easier, and appreciate what Quinte people are all about.
Good luck Adventure, I'll get you next year.

It's great to see you back on here again Blue pickerel. I was wondering how you have been making out lately and judging by your post, in good spirits.
I would love to see a pic of you on here again, if not with a 64" moose, at least with a smile on your face doing what you love the most.
Dave

I am heading to WMU 47 for my first moose hunt, there are 3 of us in camp but we are packing zero adult tags
Oh well...............a calf may not be a trophy in the man cave but certainly is a trophy in the kitchen

Good luck everyone and be safe

I am also heading to Longlac. My group leaves on Wednesday. We were unfortunate in the amount of tags we have. We went 6 for 8 in the draw which is twice as many tags then we wanted.

We leave on Thursday for Wada. In case you're wondering where that is, it's Wada f&*k up dere. We go north west of Thunder Bay. Geez it's crazy how much stuff you have to do for this trip. We've been making a list, checking it twice, packing our gear and making the ice, sighting in rifles, building up trailers, getting the tent ready, duck hunting inbetween...

LIttle Dipper, we make sure we have the guaranteed number in the group for a bull tag and then have the rest of the guys put in for 99Z. There's usually only 3-5 of us so one is enough for us. But this ensures we have the guaranteed number for next years tag.

I do know this, it's going to be a long 3 days at work coming up.

Have a great trip to WADA, and the best hunt you have ever had. I'm waiting for a little
snow, so am not leaving for Lac Seul till the 18th.
Good luck Adventure.

15 hours here. This is agony sitting here at work for one more hour! It's funny though how all my co-workers are walking around here thrashing the walls with their antlers and grunting like rut crazed bulls. I think they've all gome mad.
