After looking around for the guide, and not being able to find it in stores, I found out that they no longer make it. Apperently there is now an app for it. Tried looking for it, but can't seem to get it. Does anybody have this app, or know anything about it??

Thanks

I have the Precision Trolling Guide Pro edition and you cant even get updates for it anymore. I read on there website about an App but have not seen it released anywhere. It's a shame they had a good thing going but i guess it has all fell apart...

Fred, from what I have read, apperently it's too expensive to publish the book, and hard to get their money back.

Borrow it from the public library. Ottawa for example has 5 copies.

I remember that post Dan it was a while back for sure. I always thought the book was well priced for what it gives you. Fifty bucks was not out of the way in my opinion. The cost to print the book was high and the fact that people would copy it like wild fire hurt the sales to the point they could not recover there costs. The App was to be kind of a counter measure against copying it and i understood that it was to cost so much per page. I guess we will have to wait and see if they release it.

I have the book and will still buy the app. Guess I better treat the book like gold now and make sure it doesn't get lost or wrecked.

Could use some updating anyways.

I was curious about the app and got a hold of Mark here's his response
Our app is currently under review by Apple. As soon as Apple approves the app it will go to market. When that is going to be is completely in the hands of Apple.

Thanks for the research and update Dan. Soooo, does that mean it will only be available for Iphones?? I'm kinda green when it comes to the new phone technology these days. LOL.

I'd imagine it will start with apple devices, ie ipad, iphone, ipod touch and then it will be android soon after. Tends to be how most good apps go.

I managed to find a copy of the book at Tightline in Pickering. Unfortunately it was the last one. They do have a few copies of the big water version (not sure what it's called) the leadcore, downrigger etc... version, if anybody is interested.
