Got out for a coyote hunt today behind the beagles. Morning started of great with the dogs starting one right off the bait and 45 min later...BOOM...goes the nitro mag with a 3 1/2 BBB steel load bringing down the first yote of the day and my buddys second ever. It turned out to be a very large male. Since it was only 0830 and we had a feeling there was at least one more around we kicked the beagles loose again. Needless to say this was it for the day with a missed shot on our second chase and having to catch the dogs at 1100 when they headed toward where we didnt have permission. All in all a great morning with friends and hounds. Look at the size of the neck and stomach on this male we got. It weighed in at 58lbs.

He looks like he was eating well. There was a coyote derby on a week ago, he would have brought $800. I think the biggest was 42 lbs.
