I got some Taxidermy back today , the one on the left is the 240 pounder that won first place in Big Buck contest at Chesher's this year and one on right is my last years buck. Image

Those look awesome Gerry.

I find rubbing a light colored minwax on antlers stops them whiting out and gives them a nice deep look. Does anyone else put anything on their racks?

BTW, I was wondering how you made out in the big buck contest with that one. What did you get?
Dave

very nice. they look great I know they are both brusers but side by side they look like normal racks lol but they are above average for sure they need to have a average rack beside them to show the real scale lol all in all they look pretty cool done up that waynow you need a nice full strut turkey between them and a few fish behind lol

Hey Dave yes I was fortunate enough to win the Big Buck contest and I ended up winning a new excalibur crossbow, a savage axis package in .243,and head mount from Grays taxidermy , and a year subscription to Ontario Monster Whitetails magazine. All very awesome prizes.

Congarts, those are some great prizes.

Just so everyone knows, Carolin's last name has changed and she no longer goes by Gray. It is now Carolin's Creative taxidermy.
