Hi all
I am having another problem

Sometimes the GPS is working then cuts out. Flashes no GPS signal then
Even the GPS screens disappear from view

Anyone ever had this happen to them?

My 788 has been doing the same thing recently. I just tilt the unit back so I can see the wires underneath, and push them in to make sure they aren't loose. It happened today as soon as I turned the unit on, and then it was fine the rest of the day.
Give it a try....hopefully that's all it is.

After reading the post again, I noticed that your unit is internal GPS. I have external GPS, so I believe I have an extra cord plugged in for my GPS. This may not apply in your case.

I'm thinking of purchasing the 798ci HD SI. Can you folks that are using offer up the PROs vs. CONs of it?

Cheers
