myself and 6 buddys headed out sat. afternoon for a little durby between us. within 5 min. we had boated 2 musky and 1 walleye. finished the day with 7 more walleye. 4 were over the slot. a wet day but a great day.

The Muskies weren't huge but fun for sure the one I got was about 7 lbs 30 inches long and the other one that buddy got was about 13 14 lbs and the biggest eye was 24.5 inches long

I was out on the 5th and the 12th and only managed 1 eye around 4 pounds in both trips. Had a tough time finding anything. All the weeds had died off on my spring/summer locations, so had to put the bucktails away and resort to trolling. We did manage to get the 4 pounder in 20 FOW just east of Gores Landing with a harness/bouncer. Not sure if I'll make it back out to Rice this year, as I will probably spend the rest of the fall fishing Quinte.

Glad to see you guys got some!!

Thanks for sharing. Now that I have a waterfront Northlander on Golden Beach Resort (rice lake) most of my fishing will be done here spring till fall. Any info is welcomed :)

Tis that time of year again. We owned a cottage on the lake years back and found like in most places that twilight and later was the best time for a Wally to be had.
